Biding his time. Waiting to see what happens with the Hillary campaign. Waiting until the opportune moment to strike. If Hillary falls out Trump may not want to be seen as the person who took her out. Trump is playing what seems to be a brand new game to many today but is probably, in the final analysis, just a revival of old time politics that no one is old enough to remember.
