It looks like a reversal of 2011 when the Liberals reached a historic low of 39 seats and all the rest were scooped up by the NDP.
Justin Trudeau has led them to a remarkable comeback.
Depressing, I thought Canadians were smarter than that.
I think Liberal majority or possibility a minority that is strong enough that the Bloc will suffice. Fortunately, my MP looks to be back—she’s too conservative for Harper, but she has been around longer than he has.
I vacationed in Canada the last two years and the exchange rate stood out big this year (there were bargains in Wal-Marts) with the low oil prices also hurting Canada’s economy in the last year.

Good for her, the CPC has silenced some more conservative members for saying politically incorrect things over the years.

For the Conservatives, while its not a good night, its better for them than 1993 when they were reduced to a rump 2 seats under Kim Campbell that year.
After 9 years in power, the odds they were going to win a fourth term looked vanishingly small.
People just got tired of Harper.
Make that a Liberal Majority unless they get a lot of bad breaks. They are leading in nearly enough ridings as it stands, and over 40 are not yet reporting.
So its a Liberal majority government.
For Justin Trudeau, its a historic night.

At least there is a reasonably good chance that he can discredit the Liberals while the PCs find some one who has strengths in areas where Harper was weak but who can also build on Harper’s good points.

We won’t survive it. Canada is the last country supporting Israel, after this, the prophecies will be falling into place.

The euphoria and indeed concealed gloating by the Canadian television media is obvious. Their man is possibly a very cultured and affable edition of the late Huey Long.
Trudeau is possibly the final gateway to total socialism/communism in Canada. Time will tell
These figures are not the final figures though. As the other ridings come in there will be some changes. There are 328 results in and the total seats number 338.
