At least 40 fighters belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) have been killed in an air strike on their convoy in the Syrian province of Hama, a UK-based monitoring group says.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Sunday that unidentified warplanes hit the 16-vehicle motorcade overnight between Saturday and Sunday in Hama province.
The Observatory, which monitors the war in Syria and has a network of sources on the ground, was not immediately able to say whether the raids were carried out by Russian warplanes or Syrian regime ones.

This tells us much about what Obama’s real goals in the middle east are. It’s not because Russia has a much superior army than our that it’s accomplished more against ISIS in 3 weeks than Obama could in a year and a a half.
Didn't Al Jazerra get the message: "The Russians aren't attacking ISIS". That's a matter of MSM policy. Facts are irrelevant. If ISIS in Syria is ultimately destroyed it will not be due to the Russians. It will be due to the "Lessons of History" or something like that.

Got to say that people who,compared the Russians in Afghanistan to the Russians in Syria might be rethinking based in modern Intel collection ,weapons and targeting

You’d think with all of the money ISIS has they’d have gotten some decent shoulder-fired AAA by now. Insurgents simply cannot operate on a modern battlefield without it. Strange.

Careful what you wish for. An Iran/Russia controlled Syria is a far greater threat to the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States than an ISIS controlled Syria could ever be. Maybe Zero actually realizes this. Too bad (but this is Zero after all) he isn’t imposing any sort of no-fly zone to shoo away any Russian “flies.”
