Our immigration laws haven’t been enforced properly in years. It’s more of a focused punishment for people who follow the laws. Easy enough to believe that common sense enforcement could have prevented 9/11.
One only need to see what was immediately done after to note govt was NOT interested in protecting America nor her Citizens:
Continued open borders, immigration, visas, etc.
TSA, DHS - but no profiling of Middle Easterners
Allowed those here to fly home w/out questioning
DIDN’T take the war to S. Arabia
No, there’s enough blame for Bush even after 9 months ignoring the incidents during Clinton’s term (as if he couldn’t ramp up after taking office knowing what WAS done?!)
