The same way a 30% candidate can get the nomination. By picking up votes from the dozen other candidates as they drop out.

Right now Trump has more supporters than any other candidate, but he has far less than a majority. Just like Cruz, he has to get most of the other candidates supporters to win.

[However, I and most of the rest of the country are voting for a President, not a National Minister or Pope]

ASSUMING A HIGH GOVERNMENT POSITION IS VERY SERIOUS
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. Luke 12:48

WHY A HUMBLE, GOD FEARING PRESIDENT?
The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. .. - Proverbs 16:5

Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. - Proverbs 18:16

GIVE GOD THE GLORY
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” - Colossians 3:17

"He’s not only marching to the Republican nomination, but with opponents who like Hillary or Sanders he’s setting up an Electoral College victory on election day that will rival Reagan’s re-election."

I think that you nailed it.

The Cheap Labor Express still expects the RNC to deliver an amnesty candidate.

Don't forget the H1-B candidates like Cruz.

Yep. The major complaint around here is he isn’t conservative enough, but what would you expect? This is a right wing forum. The important point is he’s liberal enough that many in the middle can swallow him too, and he manages to take that stance without coming off the least bit squishy. As Rush put it, this isn’t about conservatism, it’s about Americanism, or Nationalism if you will, and he’s the first in a long long time to campaign on it.

Chris Wallace said pretty much the same thing after his Trump interview today. Something like “I’m starting to see him as being a posible president.” No sneering condescension today.

Your last sentence is exactly why I support The Donald. The U.S. needs a giant purge, and he’s the one with the bottle of castor oil.

I’m afraid you are right. Rubio would be a disaster and play into the hands of Democrats. Already there are rumors about him. True or not, MSM will bring them up if he is on the ticket.

I was loving it this morning on Fox News Sunday when Brit Hume and George Will’s heads exploded when Chris Wallace said he now believes Donald Trump could win the Presidency. Made my day. :-)

"I've resisted the idea that Donald Trump could and would become the Republican nominee," writes GOP strategist Alex Castellanos in an email assessment of the presidential race. "Unhappily, I've changed my mind."

Trump is dragging the GOP-e to victory, kicking and screaming all the way.

Earlier, I compared the Repuke establishment types to fish flopping around on a dock, and wondered how long they'll gasp for air that's never coming.

Looks like at least a few are finally surrendering to REALITY.

And for those who say there is still plenty of time left for the race to change in all sorts of ways, Castellanos disagrees. "Time is running out. Benghazi hearings, a debt fight, Halloween, Putin kicking over our lemonade stand a couple of times, Thanksgiving, Christmas, then one quick month until we start voting Feb. 1st. This race is solidifying and there isn't much time left for it to change. As Yogi Berra might have said, 'what comes later happens earlier than it used to.'"

Trump's our guy...he's fighting all the way.

Good thinking, you are on to something.
Lets see...what would be really, REALLY STUPID.
Lindsey Graham for VP.

Yea that would do it.

Probably so. In reporting on the Mudslime invasion from the Mideast they have descended to an abominable level of whoring for Obola and the GOPe. In the last two weeks there have been several reports from Europe on the plight of the “poor refugees” showing what sweet, innocent people they allegedly are, each of which completely omitted the evil, filth, and destruction they bring whatever they go. Then, to make it worse, they reported on a small town in AZ, to the best of my recollection, where they are allegedly being happily resettled to the great happiness of everyone. Totally disgusting.

If Trump doesn’t have a major meltdown, and keeps connecting with the base, there’ll be a lot of wrist cutting in the District of Corruption.

"And thank God America is awakening."

Not ready to agree with that, yet. Possibly.

I base my clip on the fact that we have someone running that promises lead us to bring Americas greatness back to us again.

What would it take for you to think that the prayer 'Pray America awakens' was being answered?

ou know you’re of a certain age when “There’s something happening here... “ makes you immediately think of only one thing...”What it is ain’t exactly clear.”

Heh...so true. We do date ourselves with such song references.

I think I was 14 when that tune was in the Top 40. Buffalo Springfield did that one, didn't they?

You’re missing one point that makes things less hopeless than they seem: President Trump will appoint the new Attorney General, who’ll do a lot to clean out DOJ. I have no doubt that many of Obola’s judges are about as filthy and guilty as if they’d gone rolling in an outhouse built by a Mudslime. The rehabilitated DOJ could then get a lot of them and others might just resign to avoid being investigated. It might even go up to the Chief Whore, John Roberts.

Only in an alternate universe where Obama cares more about other Democrats than he does about himself.

Maybe you're right. The way I see it, Obama is just an empty suit taking orders from his billionaire Rat controllers. I'm sure they have lots of dirt on him. I believe if they were convinced it's the best what to retain Rat control of the White House, they would instruct Bathhouse Barry to step aside and that would be that.
