The undecided will not all break to any one candidate. That is why they are UNDECIDED. They have no particular candidate they like.

There is a "bandwagon" effect to consider. Voters either undecided, or weakly connected to another campaign, will switch to back the "winning" candidate relatively easy. You saw that in 2008 and 2012. Both Romney and McCain started with a solid core of support. Once they started looking like winners, they quickly peeled off voters from other candidates.

I think the longer Trump looks like a winner, and does nothing spectacularly stupid, the more and more of these "undecided" and weakly connected to another candidate voters Trump will pick up.

Right now Trump's biggest problem is there is a lot of distrust for him among Christian Conservatives and a lot of traditional GOP voters have a distaste for his brash style.

There are still a lot of voters in "wait and see" mode that Trump can get if he keeps doing what he is doing. Trump is leading. And Leadership is what the GOP most desperately needs right now.

I can not disagree with anything you said. Considering Trump has never ran for any office before, he is not as smooth as career politicians. I have noticed, however, that he improves with each week passing. I have a hunch he will keep improving. His last few speeches are already hugely better than when he began the campaign.

As you said, based on latest polls from SC & NV, only Trump can beat Trump now. No one else is close to him except Carson. All others are in single digits.

The other thing that has raised my opinions of Mr Trump is the news stories on his ground game.

The fact that he is the only candidate other then Bush working to get on the Virgina ballot indicates some deep strategic thinking on the part of the Trump team.

As you pointed out, Trump is learning quickly how to be a better candidate and he is doing the minutia serious candidate have to do to win.

I was one of the 60% in June that thought "I will never vote for Trump". I am happy now to admit I was wrong about Trump.

Yep, Buffalo Sprongfield. Written by Stehen Stills, one of my favorites. I had turned 16.

Crosby, Stills, & Nash was one of the major soundtracks of my teenage years. Their music is still some of my most favorite.

Yep. And if you were an LA local you knew Stephen Stills wrote it about the Sunset Strip curfew riots.
