That’s what people said in the 1960’s when the antiwar movement came very close to ripping the country apart.

Except we went from “I dare you to lay a hand on a Steelers fan!” to “Gimmedat!” since the 60’s.

There are many of us who survived and raised our families in the 1960’s. This time of our history is very different and incredibly frightening. Certainly we did not have the internet then and our networking ability was limited to what we learned by listening in on our multi-party landline. Looking back we at least felt like we had more control over our environment and lives versus little or no control now.

I submit the 60s antiwar movement and other movements did rip the country apart and gave us the Clintons, John Kerry and worst of all, Barack and Michelle Obama. The 60s radicals took over education in America and the rest was easy.
