None of them sneaked in over the southern border. All of them entered on legal student or visitor visas.

Fifteen years later and there still is no comprehensive program to track those here on expired student or tourist visas. I find it implausible that if he were President in 2000 instead of Bush 43, Trump would have put into place a plan to find and deport every single person here on an expired Visa, let alone have this plan designed and implemented in eight months.

W should not be blamed for 9-11 nor the 2008 meltdown for which he warned Fannie and Freddy Mac were potential disasters yet went ignored by their Dem overlords. Iraq, irresponsible budget spending and not securing the borders are what gets W deserved blame IMO.

Instead of attacking Trump for saying this HOW COME Jeb doesn’t educate him and lay the real blame? THE real blame is on Islamic terrorism AND the Clintons. Now why can’t JEb just say this? Because he’s politically aligned with the Clintons and is too cowardly to say Islamic terrorism.

We keep hearing the drivel that the US has been safe since 911. What about the Tsarnov brothers? If our gov had actually been more vigilent, they would've never been in the US. How could they have been real refugees when they were safe travelling back and forth to their homeland?

Trump is correct. We all agree that the Bushes are not conservatives and do not put US interests above the globalist agenda. So why haven't we come out and said that GWB had an agenda after 911, but it wasn't necessarily putting the interests of the US homeland and us citizens first.

911 happened EIGHT MONTHS after GWB was inaugurated. At the very least, you'd think the Commander in Chief would've done a thorough analytic review of homeland safety. Wouldn't that have led to planes and eyes on the sky, at the very least protecting the Pentagon?

Anyone who thinks that any POTUS can immediately correct everything the previous dipshit traitor POTUS did is living in a fantasyland.

Regarding Trump being able to prevent 911, is not a viable statement. Trump is talking out of his ass, because his mouth knows better. Not a totally unusual SOP for the Donald.

I have no issue with Trump counter-attacking Yeb, but he needs to keep his positions factual and with common sense.

“the quote which defines his position is not the headline.

In fact the headline is nearly the opposite of what he said.
That’s called ‘marketing’!

Do you remember what was going on in the early stages of the Bush’s first term? Within WEEKS and the WEAK response?

After convincing me of being a straight shooter Trump is wading into forked-tongue territory. When he says he doesn’t blame W for the attacks then proceeds to blame him for the attacks sends a mixed message. It doesn’t matter if he’s right or wrong, this is starting to spread and it’s not sitting well with lots of people. Of course the deadheads in the press are intent on exploiting this

George did keep the bulk of the Clinton people who had set the weakness and the plot in motion. We need to recall, how they feared Reagan the Cowboy whom they believed would have nuked them for any reason. Iran Hostages were released how soon after the inauguration?
How much better off would we be had his inauguration been followed by dismissals, indictments, and prosecutions? We can only hope that those are hallmarks of a Trump Administration.

He knows how to keep himself in the headlines. It will be interesting to see if he eventually shoots himself in the foot.

Refusing to look at the Bush failure for what it was is a sign of Whacko. Who kept Clintonites and kissed up to them?

That’s the way I look at it.

If Trump had been president in 2001, perhaps he would have tried to get rid of all foreign terrorists in the US; however, would he have had enough time ie seven and half months to do so? And if he did try during his early 2001 term, would the media, lobbyists, etc have stopped him?

I remember quite well that Clinton was focused on domestic terrorism (esp white supremacists) and not foreign (at all!). Remember OK bombing. The country was focused on domestic, not foreign terroism.

That’s all very god and much of it I agree with. But what do we have to show for it? NOTHING.

Like I said. Bush should have burned Afghanistan to the ground, closed the borders, and told the Saudis to pound sand.

He didn’t.

And combined with the grossly incompetent and treasonous Obama administration, we are where we are: Iraq a ghastly failure and America is facing disaster economically and militarily.

I stand by my original post.

You can criticize Trump for being wrong on things but you can’t criticize him for being uniformed on issues. Tells me he’s serous about running and making America great again.

Not all the hijackers’ Visas had expired. But every hijacker did break the law when obtaining their visa by submitting an application falsely stating that he was not seeking to enter the United States to engage in terrorism. This was a felony, punishable under 18 U.S.C. § 1546 by 25 years in prison and under 18 U.S.C. § 1001 by 5 years in prison, and was a violation of immigration law rendering each one inadmissible under 8 U.S.C. § 1182(a)(6)(c).

"I'm not blaming George Bush," Trump said

Rather then keep clinging to your ignorance, you might try prying open your welded shut mind and learn something for a change.

We aren’t safe. It’s as simple as that.

Seems to me that America has been made safe for them, and not us.

And I am about sick of it.
