I have people trying to do that to me a lot, when I argue with them. I’ve learned to deal with that by sticking to the rules. If the professor tried that on me, she’d find herself shut down.

I can't recall any tyrants who chose to put men under the thumb of women as the vehicle for their machinations. Personally, I put more faith in the curse of the fall than some Rube Goldberg policy mechanism to get from female chauvinism to totalitarianism.
These kids who fall for all this crap nowadays are going to be so dysfunctional and shocked at the real world they have to compete in when they get out in it, that they will crawl up in the fetal position and start crying like a baby at the first sign of adversity.
I say shove it back in their faces and refuse to be politically correct at all. One of my favorite things to tell a liberal when they question my insensitivity or claim what I am saying is offensive is, "I am not a politician, so I don't have to follow their correct rules." It makes their heads explode. :-)
Period, end of sentence. And, I might say, usually the end of the discussion with said liberal. I make it a habit of not conversing with them if at all possible nowadays. Improves my mental well-being.

As I said, this is all part of a package to get people to think of themselves negatively ... as racists, rapists, ‘deniers’, bigots, terrorists (remember Pelosi saying tea party activists are ‘potential terrorists’) violence prone (just for owning a gun) etc.
They are trying to make just being an INDIVIDUAL who doesn’t happen to agree with the left about one or more issues into a some kind of monster or would-be criminal BEFORE THE FACT.
This is only one part of the plan, not the whole plan.

Well, I’m sometimes tired of my job, but not yet that tired. So I sit through the class without saying a single word.
