The next president will have to be Trump, then,
because no “republican” is going to go after a previous administration for criminal behavior.
Bush wouldn’t do it. The cover story was that he eschewed it because of “decorum”,
but it was probably some inner circle agreement about the “nobility” not holding each other to account.
And this is more and more what I am coming to think. The elite of both parties has too much respect for each other to actually toss their opposition in jail for criminal behavior.
It is what I absolutely detested about George H.W. Bush. He always treated the Democrats slime balls as if they were dear close personal friends instead of a vile and vicious enemy out to cut your throat.
And of course the stupid bastard got his political throat cut by his "friends."
