hanks to George Washington, Barack Obama cannot seek a third term, but the president confidently proclaimed this week that he believes he could secure another four years in the White House — a boast some analysts quickly cast as wholly unrealistic, perhaps even politically delusional.

Huh? Yes, Washington served 2 terms, and that was understood (by generally moral and restrained people) to be a limit for everyone...until FDR went and got himself elected 4 times. At which point there was a Constitutional Amendment (remember when our government actually followed the governing law????) to prevent any person from serving more than 2 full terms plus no more than 1 year and 364 days of someone else's term.
So, NO, it wasn't Washington who placed term limits on the Presidency, it was the people of this country, through their elected federal and state representatives who did that...and if this swine, this America-hating, Leftist enabler of the most radical Islamic nations, tries to serve one minute past 12:00 P.M. on 1/20/2017, then it will again be the people of this country who will put a stop to it...with or without our elected representatives.
A Nightmare Scenario
The Hillary Clinton campaign continues in a downward spiral. So, the Democratic Party is attempting to orchestrate behind closed doors the following scenario:
The Facts:
· Obama can run as Vice President on the Biden-Obama ticket in 2016, but Obama cannot be “elected” for a 3rd term as President.
· Obama can assume the Presidency if Biden dies or resigns at any time after the inauguration. Obama would become President because he would not be “elected” to the office.
· Joe Biden was born November 20, 1942, and he will be 74 prior to the inauguration in January 2017.
· Obama can retain control over the Democratic party and its funds until 2020.
· A Biden-Obama ticket can win in 2016 if the Dem loyalties are unified and the Republican loyalties are split.
Why does this matter:
1. The Democrats would retain control of the government bureaucracy until 2020
2. The Democrats would retain Veto power over the Congress
3. The Democrats wouldretain control of the Attorney General’s office and define what is prosecuted and what is not.
4. The Democrats would retain control over the appointments of Federal judges
5. The Democrats would be in a position to replace up to 2 or 3 of the Supreme Court Justices.
6. The Democrats would use Executive Orders to make temporary laws and protect progressive principles.
7. The Democrats would protect Obamacare, EPA overreach, progressive moves to socialism, disintegration of the military, illegal immigration, deficit spending, etc.
8. The President would pardon all of the Democrats who could be prosecuted if a Republican is elected later.
9. The Federal bureaucracy would be used to further Democrats ideals, ability to stay in power, and stifle opposing movements.
There is a point of contention regarding the interpretation of the Twelfth Amendment as it relates to the Twenty-second Amendment, ratified in 1951, which prohibits a person from being “elected” President more than twice.
While it is clear that under the Twelfth Amendment the original constitutional qualifications of age, citizenship, and residency apply to both the President and Vice President, it is unclear whether a two-term president could later serve as Vice President. Some argue that the Twenty-second Amendment and Twelfth Amendment both bar any two-term president from later serving as Vice President as well as from succeeding to the presidency from any point in the United States presidential line of succession.[8] Others contend that the Twelfth Amendment concerns qualification for service, while the Twenty-second Amendment concerns qualifications for election, and thus a former two-term president is still eligible to serve as vice president.[9] The practical applicability of this distinction has not been tested, as no former president has ever sought the vice presidency, and thus the courts have never been required to make a judgment regarding the matter.

It’s only odd if you actually believe the fiction that we have two distinct parties. The Republican establishment is feeding from the same globalist-corporatist trough as the Democrats. The two sides have minor quibbles over who gets to hand out the spoils of looting the USA, but on the big issues like Obamacare and the massive sovereignty destroying “trade agreements” everyone is playing along.
Betraying the American people just pays so well.
Heck that is scary. I would imagine, or I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama was thinking about this, I’m sure he could try and find away to get around those Amendments.
He might even just sign another Executive Order, if he’s thinking of messing about with the 2nd Amendment, why not from his perspective.
I would stay home for sure. Better yet, I'd go out and do something I enjoy, like fishing/biking. No Internet or radio until the following week.
At that point, what difference does it make?

Barry wishes it were not true, but because enough Democrats are like Jim Webb and not like, say, Sheila Jackson Lee, he knows that if he tried a banana republic stunt like “assuming power due to exigency” (beyond his dictatorial ‘executive orders”), both Houses and the people would vote as we did in 1864 and run him out of town on a rail, feathered.
I think that with this creature it is a possibility that he will try and stay on for a third term. The possibility is low but there!
George Washington was reluctant to accept a second term, and outright refused a third. He did not want to trade a British king for an American one, even if it was himself. That decision started the tradition of two-term limits, and it wasn't until a Democrat ignored it (FDR) that Congress acted to codify the tradition.

My thoughts are simple. The Establishment Republicans i.e. the leaders in the House and Senate, have the same landlords.
1) American-based, multinational corporations.
2) Global banks, like J.P.MorganChase/Bank of America
3) Chamber of Commerce aka The Chamber of Illegal Immigrants
The globalists/statists(call them what you will) want
socialism, of course with them at the top 1% in wealth.
There is no other rational explanation for it.
If you check who the large donors are to people like leftist Sen. Charles Schumer, and alleged conservative McCain, the donors are the same people listed above. This is why we call Congress the “Uniparty”

Are these people stupid or something? Washington only set an example. Obama is limited by CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. Maybe they don't want to point that out, because if Cruz or Trump is going to be elected, maybe Obama plans to stay.
We will be in a civil war automatically at that point.
It was a gentlemen’s agreement before the 15th. Thank god because Obama is no gentleman. The Amendment is the only thing stopping him-—I hope.
You never know. He is so sick he may have a plan up his crummy sleeve. I believe more and more that he is not just a traitor, but mentally deranged.
