Now Russia starts construction of secure refugee camps in Syria, in cooperation with local authorities.

Russia has set up a first reception center for 500 refugees at a racetrack in the Syrian city of Hama. There are tents, four field kitchens, dining rooms and sanitary facilities, writes the German-speaking newspaper Sputnik.

During the past week, two Russian transport aircraft have flown 80 tons of supplies to the crisis area. The Russian planes have brought 15 tons of food and other supplies.

At the opening of the camp, the governor of the province of Hama, Hassan Omar Haljaf, and representatives of the Syrian military attended.

In his speech, the Governor thanked Russia for its help.

I HATE being in the position where I can’t support my country’s foreign policy.

And i have to hope russia protects the remaining Christians in the Middle East.

Our president’s brain is mush.

and that russian guy that said America has gone insane and is trying to take everyone with it was right.

i know what russia is. but the enemy of my enemy is for now my friend,

Refreshing.

Since the Yeltsin/Washington-induced tragedy in Russia, under the leadership of Brother Putin and his team, not only has the RF substantially recovered, Russia is now “a light unto the World” in many contexts. This refugee camp is an emblematic example of sharp contrast from the perverse deeds of the Empire of Chaos.

I have taken the trouble to find out all I can about Vladimir Putin and I’ve listened to him extensively. Thus I’ve gone from blanket dismissal of just about all politicians, to KNOWING that he is unique and possibly the best leader the World has ever had ... perhaps the first and only one to sincerely put peace and co-operation first, with force as a very last defensive resort.

I’m not inclined to hero-worship, but I come very close where Putin is concerned, especially because he is not a “one man band” and has assembled a very talented consultative team.

He was recently asked if he made all the decisions and he said that though he has the final word on some things, it’s always after consultation and he does not like making quick decisions. Instead he likened it to driving a car and waiting to over-take another vehicle until being as sure as possible that it was safe to do so.

On the other hand he likened negotiating with Obama to playing chess with a pigeon, which runs around the board knocking over all the pieces, sh*its on the board, then struts off as though it has won.

The well thought-out, rapid take over of the situation in Syria (and beyond) kinda demonstrates all of my points.

Let’s just hope that there are some sane people in Washington!

Sounds to me like they've been listening to Trump.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to those ungrateful slimy bastards when they start throwing the food and water the Ruskies are providing..

Your comments re Putin seem to tell at least when his head/nose is in the air, both feet are still on the ground and being used. With ‘our guy’ not so much. Sometime back when oh-the dark won began to turn even ‘darker’ praise for Putin was a common occurrence Then we had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at us and he become more of an idol. Sad to say it is a disgrace when WTP agree w/our enemy more than we do our own ‘leader’. But then, again, we truly have no leader.

Camp for 500 is really nothing. Just your “Soviet Times” making a lot of noise about something tiny. Britain alone has spent over billion £ on much larger camps holding tens of thousands.

Camp for 500 is really nothing

It's 500 more innocent victims than the US is protecting.

Everyone Putin has ever whacked , have been the correct ones to whack. The libtard plants, UN “Human Rights yet Bill Ayers “ types. State Dept Paid Pussy Riot social troublemakers...etc...

When one delves into who Putins victims were, and the people associated with them, its hard not to like Putin.

Wow! NOW I really see wht you mean. This is enough to make the Obama crowd go positively NUTZO.

It makes one wonder whether there is a Coptic branch of the Knights Templar in Syria.

Saladin is not having the last word. The holy water is going right on the war-head.

Thank you so much for posting this Fred, it should give Christians on FR pause for thought.

Exactly Fred. Putin seems to have Obama pretty well accurately sketched.
