Both he and Trump were , honestly, lousy in the debate yet it didn’t hurt them one bit. Has to be the tweets, town halls, and interviews that show their non-PC and common sense side.
Well Trump says bad words, and church ladies don’t like that.
The church ladies need to dig into what Carson’s group believes - it doesn’t line up with mainstream Christianity in some aspects.
The words that Trump uses are in the Bible - so, maybe the church ladies need to read it more often. Yeah, I know - he uses them differently, but are they really curse words? Jesus talked about hell alot - was that a bad word? The Bible even uses the word pis*eth.

He believes in God and like many in mainstream churches, they aren’t fully aware that God cares about every aspect of their lives. He isn’t a deeply committed Christian as others - however, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have faith in God - only God knows his heart - not you - not me - We have elected some people we thought were “close to God,” and they have let us down. This shouldn’t be a litmus test.
