Obama will appreciate Amnesty International's support in quickly labeling Kurds as war criminals.

Maybe Obama will show them the same appreciation he did Doctors Without Borders.

Maybe the Kurds are getting a bit tired of being raped and murdered.

Wasn’t Amnesty International quiet when Christian people were losing their heads?

Slight correction...

You are right.

But we still need to arm the Kurds heavily.

They have no interest in attacking us on our soil.

I have not read one article that has even insinuated it.

I dont care what they burn or what they do, frankly, as long as it’s not done to Christians and they leave us alone.

Just like the war crimes Gen. Sherman committed in the South in his infamous March to the Sea, burning civilians homes and farms to the ground. No wonder many families in the South still remember the suffering of their ancestors at the hands of the Union.

If these are places where ISIS fighters found refuge, it makes sense to leave them no where to hide and then start over. Let them leave for Turkey or the EU or be killed.

I agree but let them slug it out.

The Kurds are probably the least guilty of all the guilty parties.

Sherman considered it better to destroy property and quickly end the ability of the south to supply it’s armies rather than let the slaughter continue on. And it worked.

i dont even care if they’re guilty lol.

they the ONLY ones, including Assad, Russia, Iran, and China that have never, even indirectly had hostility towards us.

But i’d rather have assad than ISIS.

Syria, Russia and Kurds vs ISIS and Turkey :)

kick them out of NATO first. or renege. i dont care.

VERY good point, and I think probably the reasoning. No reason to get personnel blowed up clearing boobie traps when you can just knock the structure down and let it blow.

“amounting to war crimes”

Actually, since the Kurds are a nationless people, it’s impossible for them to commit “war crimes”, since they cannot be signatories to any of the conventions that define “war crimes”.

If we want them to be bound by our rules, we need to let them have a homeland first.

This stuff guarantees endearment to the peasants and that the US-supplied YPG will be yet another valued member of a future democratic government to replace the awful terrible boogey man Assad
