Carson may be a nice guy...perhaps but there is something odd about the guy. I’ll not vote for him in the primaries and more than likely pass if he is the nom.
Like all good (i.e. deranged) liberals, EUgene is always ready to trample on the First Amendment whenever possible.

This is popular editorial technique. Spend several paragraphs telling how dangerous, crackpot, crazy, etc. someone’s ideas are BEFORE actually telling what those ideas are. Then, the assumption is that you’ll have so conditioned the reader that he or she won’t notice the ideas are actually quite sound.
Eugene Robinson is truly “a crackpot of the first order.”

Robinson’s attack on Carson reminds me of his fellow democrats savage attacks on Clarence Thomas. To a liberal, black, democrat like Robinson and WHITE democrats in particular, destroying uppity Republican Negroes is Job 1 when they wake up in the morning.
No creature on earth intimidates Liberal Democrats more than a Black, successful, Republican. He simply has to be exterminated because the “black vote” is EXCLUSIVE PROPERTY” of the now mis-named Democratic Party.

It’s amazing to see these supposedly smart “conservative” pundits who have lived in the NY-DC media bubble so long that they are totally oblivious to the real world in the USA. I am now including, besides Robinson who has been there all along, Krauthammer, Hume, Hayes, Will, and Goldberg. These people have become totally unglued in their hatred for anyone not supported by the DC Bubble Establishment robots. Some, particularly Will and Hayes have long been irrational in their absolute hatred, but the rest are now following as they have been unable to sway the Conservative Majority to think as they do.

When Robinson was born, he was so seriously ill that the doctor was certain he would not survive. He was temporarily paralyzed from birth and his head was misshapen. So likely was Robinson’s death that the physician asked Robinson’s father Charles for a name for the baby’s birth and death certificates.
Robinson’s parents were young (his mother Imogene was twenty) and they were hoping for a girl.
They named the baby “Vicky Gene Robinson” for Charles’ father Victor and the baby’s mother Imogene.
Pretty much applies across the board.
