If the rebels are defeated in Syria, the biggest beneficiary is Iran. Has everyone forgotten the humiliation of the 444 day Hostage Crisis, when the mullahs held over 50 Americans hostage in their own embassy. Iran has never suffered any kind of payback or “karma” for that yet, and it’s been almost 35 years.
