President Barack Obama got feisty during an interview about Russian President Vladimir Putin, as one CBS News anchor put it.
In the interview, set to air Sunday on 60 Minutes, Obama immediately pushed back from reporter Steve Krofts line of questioning about Americas leadership around the world, particularly in the Middle East.
A year ago, when we did this interview, there was some saber-rattling between the United States and Russia on the Ukrainian border, Kroft said. Now its also going on in Syria. You said a year ago that the United States, America leads, that we are the indispensable nation. Mr. Putin seems to be challenging that leadership.
In what way? Lets think about this, Obama challenged.
Kroft noted Russias expanded military action in Syria and its other military operations in the Middle East, something Russia hasnt done since World War II.
So thats leading, Steve? Obama replied. When I came into office, Ukraine was governed by a corrupt ruler who was a stooge of Mr. Putin. Syria was Russias only ally in the region. Obama added that Putin is devoting his troops to the region to barely hold together his sole ally.
Hes challenging your leadership, Mr. President. Hes challenging your leadership, Kroft said.
Again, Obama challenged that claim.
Ive got to tell you, if you think that running your economy into the ground and having to send troops in in order to prop up your only ally is leadership, then weve got a different definition of leadership, the president replied.
The exchange stunned the anchors of CBS This Morning, Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah ODonnell.
Wow, Mr. Kroft, Rose hailed.
Youve interviewed him many times, ODonnell added. He seemed especially feisty this time.
I haven't watched 60 Minutes in a long time. Might have to catch this.
This community organizer doesn’t even realize when he is challenged.
“Is Not!” whines Obama.
Ayatollah Obama got all wee-weed up
Oh my, get a load of the closed union type of behaviour from journalists whenever their boy gets challenged or criticized by someone like Mr. Kroft or even Bob Woodward.
Obama knows all about the Middle East ... denial? It’s a big river in Egypt.
Ive got to tell you, if you think that running your economy into the ground and having to send troops in in order to prop up your only ally is leadership, then weve got a different definition of leadership, the president replied.
*************************
Yeah, he prefers to run the economy into the ground while pulling troops out abandoning allies.
Speaking of Egypt, when Obama was first elected, Egypt was an ally. Now they, and increasingly Isreal, are joining with Russia.
Feisty = Snippy

Meanwhile the man-child-in-chief and his enablers have been doing exactly that here.
It’s bad enough they’re out of touch with We the People, but this shows 0bama is out of touch with his own reality as well. No wonder Putin and Xi are having a field day playing with 0bama.
If there's anything more damaging than this I'll eat my hat.
Notice....O changed his hair color.
All ‘wee wee-d up’?
Vladimir Putin - Doing the job the Republicans refuse to do.
Imagine a year later, ISIS is destroyed. Obama claim credit
Let’s see. Egypt, Libya, Ukraine and almost Syria. Have I missed any? Quite a war mongering record for a peace loving democrat.
feist·y
ˈfīstē/
adjective informal
adjective: feisty; comparative adjective: feistier;
superlative adjective: feistiest
(of a person, typically one who is relatively small or weak) lively, determined
Yep, I can see using that word for Obama on the rare occasions when he acts spirited or spunky. I didn't think "feisty" was ever used with grown men, but it suits our boy King.
Maybe we will see Wispy on TV again in an information vehicle like this...
