Ham smothered in cloves and brown sugar
You need to try mustard sauce on the ham.
I had a Steward teach me how to make mustard sauce back in 63 while I was cook aboard the USS Taluga.
Mustard, vinegar, brown sugar along with the usual pumpkin pie spices. I really rarely try to fix it anymore but when I was 20 years younger everyone loved it.
Mustard is a recent item on my “good” list. I will have to try it your way next time. Thank you!
