The world seems full of angries, crazies, and trigger happies. It is hard to find world leaders that speak rationally any more. They are either lunatics, ideologues, and/or spewing threats like they have tourettes. OR....liberal dreamy pacifists who think our greatest threats are global warming and unsafe bathrooms for cross-dressers.

The problem is, and most conservatives understand this, that there are evil people in the world.

They don’t want to get along with you. They don’t want to be friends with you. They don’t want to trade with you. They don’t want to visit you or be visited by you.

They want to dominate you, take what you have that is valuable, make a slave of you, or kill you.

You cannot reason with them. There are two things they understand: Power and Weakness. They may occasionally not see power, or underestimate an adversary like Saddam Hussain did.

But one thing they do very, very well, is spot weakness. They can smell it from the other side of the world. And the United States, once a bulwark against these kinds of people, now exudes weakness. Our military is more preoccupied with integrating homosexuals, transsexuals and women than it is with the business of war, and those beady-eyed, knuckle-dragging thugs watching us aren’t missing a thing.

We are weaker than we have been since the 1930’s, and I don’t mean militarily. We can have the best weapons, but if the moral compass that guides the use of those weapons is completely broken, the weapons won’t be of any use.
