Oregon is not like WA or CA. We only have 3 million total and once you get outside the city limits it is very conservative. They just have to turn out an extra 30K and they can win.
Washington is a lot like Oregon, only a few blue counties. Almost the same boundary east to west. We won the Governorship in 2008 but it was stolen by the Dem machine
