Shirley Sherrod case settled, now put to bed myth that Breitbart’s tape was misleading
Legal Insurrection ^ | October 9, 2015 | William A. Jacobson

Shirley Sherrod sued Andrew Breitbart, Larry O’Connor and others over a video of Sherrod giving a speech before an NAACP group, in which she recounted how in the distant past when she worked for a state agency, she had discriminated against a white farmer. Breitbart’s widow was substituted as a defendant after his death.

Sherrod was fired by the US Dept. of Agriculture as a result of their (over)reaction, and despite her clarifications and denials, indicating she had given some help to the farmer, and had learned from the experience to treat people fairly.

We have analyzed that original tape, frame by frame, and the tape was not deceptive.

If more people were informed about this shakedown by NAACP Obama supporters they'd be horrified. Obama set this up while he was a Senator for the bilking of tax money within the US by hucksters such as the Sherrods.

From the article:

After several years, and a lengthy docket, the Sherrod case has settled. A Stipulation of Dismissal and Order of Dismissal were filed in the case a few days ago. (Copies at bottom of post). The terms were not disclosed, and inquiries to attorneys on both sides have not been returned. .

OK, I'm not a lawyer - so does this mean Ms. Sherrod collected anything? Or was the case dismissed entirely?

It means the litigants settled, so the court dismissed the case, and neither attorney has been willing to reveal the terms.

When the video was originally shown on Breitbart, it was done to show the NAACP’s crowd reaction to her admitting to racism against whites. They cheered.

But at the bottom it said "dismissed with prejudice".

Since Sherrod was the plaintiff, this would mean not only does she get NOTHING, but the court found her claim laughable.

IF there were "terms" at all, I'm guessing that Sherrod had to pay Breitbart's legal fees.

sherrod and her husband originally got millions, from the Pigford shakedown I think. They wanted to set up a black commune and give away food to black people.

The USDA under Reagan said that's not a feasible business plan so no loan.

Under Clinton she got millions and a $100 ,000 a year job at the USDA despit no qualifications.
