Officials say Texas Southern University is on lockdown after two people were shot at a student housing complex.
University spokesman Kendrick Callis said the shooting was reported around 11:30 a.m. Friday at University Courtyard Apartments on the edge of the Houston campus.

Half the media seems to be reporting that this was “near” the campus, and the other half are saying “on” the campus.
Any comment from DearLeader? Isn’t he out in Rosedale, OR politicizing last week’s shooting at Umpqua Community College...so perfect op for him to “link.”
Third shooting there in the last several weeks, according to the Houston Chronical.
That area has been dangerous for decades. Texas Southern has been on the edge of closing due to very poor academics for decades.

0bama will go to Houston, visit the families for a few minutes, and then go play golf at the best country club in Houston. Just like he will quickly visit Oregon on “official business” (we pay for it) and go to fundraisers in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. After the Los Angeles fundraiser he arrives in San Diego for a couple of days golfing in exclusive Rancho Santa Fe.

After the VT massacre, they are not going to assume it’s domestic. VT massacre started with two students shot in the dorm ... they were looking for the boyfriend & thinking it was likely a domestic violence situation. Two hours later, the massacre commenced in the classrooms.
That’s a daily occurrence in Houston’s Third World, I mean Third Ward.
2 shootings on the day of obuma’s visit to Roseburg. Wow what a real coincidence! Nothing planned there.
Local FOX station originally reported the college was “once again” on lockdown due to a shooting. At the end of the news they backpedaled only slightly and stated it was in the on-campus housing. Talk about cherry picking sound bites.
They spent most of their time talking about the new textbooks which will be available in November changing the word “workers” from Africa to say “slaves”.
Just ridiculous station. Sorry I listened.
