Ellmers thanks lawmakers for 'prayers' amid affair rumors (Amnesty Pimp Renee denies affair)
Politico ^ | 10/9/15 | Jake Sherman , Anna Palmer and Lauren French

Rep. Renee Ellmers stood up in a private meeting of Republican lawmakers on Friday and thanked them for their "prayers and support" after they received “nasty emails” accusing her of having an extramarital affair with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, according to multiple sources in the room.

She did not mention McCarthy (R-Calif.) by name, detail the content of the emails or provide any other information.

Sources close to Ellmers and McCarthy say the accusation is unfounded, and assert that it is being spread by a discredited troublemaker. McCarthy has publicly denied that any personal problems were behind his stunning decision to withdraw from the speaker's race on Thursday.

Ellmers was referring to emails sent to dozens of Republican lawmakers recently by Steve Baer, a Chicago-based GOP donor, claiming the two Republican lawmakers were engaged in a romantic relationship. Ellmers' attorney also sent a "cease and desist" letter this week to GotNews.com, a website that alleged early in 2015 the two were having a longstanding affair. This all came as McCarthy was running for speaker.

Rumors of a romantic relationship between McCarthy and Ellmers have been swirling in Republican circles for years.

Renee Ellmers-
I have zero sympathy for this liberal back stabber. She is still kind of cute at 50, making me think she has been jerking people around for years via her good looks. I doubt the internet has a younger photo of her to help me out on this.

Kevin McCarthy’s Exit Came After Personal Threat Over Affair Allegations

In the hours before House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) abruptly withdrew his candidacy to be the next speaker of the House, he received an email from a conservative activist threatening to expose an alleged affair with a colleague. The subject line: “Kevin, why not resign like Bob Livingston?”

The email, sent just after 8 a.m. on Thursday, came from Steve Baer, a Chicago-based GOP donor known for mass-emailing conservative figures and Republican lawmakers. It was addressed to McCarthy and numerous others, including the personal account of Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.), whom conservative media sites have suggested is tied romantically to McCarthy.

McCarthy has brushed off the affair allegation. After announcing that he would not seek the speaker’s post on Thursday, he was asked about Wednesday’s cryptic letter from Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.), which asked that “any candidate for speaker of the House, majority leader, and majority whip withdraw himself from the leadership election if there are any misdeeds he has committed since joining Congress that will embarrass himself, the Republican conference, and the House of Representatives if they become public.”

“No. No. Come on,” said McCarthy. His decision to withdraw, he said, was to ensure that fellow GOP members didn’t have a tough vote. “For us to unite, we probably need a fresh face,” he said.

Ellmers is a despicable, duplicitous creature who won her office by posing as a Tea Party conservative but, once she arrived in Washington, PROMPTLY sold out to the Chamber of Commerce and became an Amnesty/Open Borders/Cheap Labor pimp.

She has been one of the worst liars as far as this goes. I hope she loses her next election

Of course she is going to deny an affair.

Her southern district voters would not take kindly to knowing
about her affair.

I hope she either resigns or gets primaried.

She's already being primaried - Kay Daley already has ads out.

The “asking for prayers” part is what seals it for me...its got the old Swaggert and Baker feel to it.

From her official bio:

Ellmers, a Roman Catholic, is a "family values" Republican with Christian values. She has said "As a mom, Christian and nurse, my beliefs have deepened through experience... I am pro-family"

Swaggart and Baker indeed.

“Ellmers’ attorney also sent a “cease and desist” letter this week to GotNews.com, a website that alleged early in 2015 the two were having a longstanding affair.”

Apparently the “cease and desist” letter didn’t leave GotNews.com shaking in its boots, as the site published the letter and replied that it “stands by its story regarding the DC, NC, and Bakersfield rumors regarding an alleged affair between Congresswoman Renee Ellmers and Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy. We look forward to the opportunity to avail ourselves of deposition with seated members of congress should it come to that.”

The affair between Ellmers and McCarthy is one of the worst-kept secrets; rest assured, one or more MSM outlets were preparing a long article or TV report on their relationship when McCarthy and the GOP-e got wind of it and he decided to drop out of the speaker’s race. The report may yet run, but it achieved its purpose, by presenting Republicans as hypocrites and creating more chaos in the GOP ranks.

I have no use for McCarthy and Ellmers is one of the biggest hypocrites in Congress—no easy feat. Not only is see sleeping her way up the Congressional food chain, she is also an amnesty pimp who breaks promises at the drop of a hat—or Kevin McCarthy’s zipper. She is also famous for running against Obamacare and Congressional perks during her first campaign, but immediately signed up for the federal health plan when she arrived in Washington. She claimed her family had no other option. For the record, her husband is a wealthy physician. Just another lie from Renee.

I was suckered also. Coincidentally, I just received a campaign fundraising letter from her “Renee Ellmers for Congress Committee” asking for several hundred dollars. In it she’s posing once again as a “small government conservative” and in its last paragraph is the sentence “Please know that Brent joins me in thanking you for all that you do.” I’m guessing that “Brent” is is her cuckold husband.

The only thing I’m going to do is to contribute to the person primarying her.
