People who eat what the government tells them to in their nutritional guidelines, are the same mindless robots that can't do anything else in their lives without getting instructions from a TV program or magazine article on how to live. They are also the same people who voted for Obama and will vote for Hillary and/or Bernie.

The government food pyramid for years has been wrong. Eat more grains, vegetables, fruits and starches, which when broken down in the body become sugar (glucose) and if not burned as energy by your daily activity or exercise, will be stored as fat in your butt and belly within 24-48 hours. Their message: meats and fats will make you fat, when the exact opposite is true. The epidemic of obesity in this country is from the proliferation of fast foods, processed carbs and sugars, not from eating fats and meats.

If you cut the processed carbs, fruits, starches and sugars from your diet, and only eat meat, chicken, pork and fish with some eggs, cheese and other fats and a small amount of simple, unprocessed carbs like fresh salad-type green vegetables, your body will go into ketosis and burn your stored fats as energy instead of glucose. You will not only lose your excess weight but you will not get that sugar rush that causes you to be hungry all the time and eat more of what's bad for you. People have been known to reverse their diabetes from eating this low carb way. My brother-in-law completely reversed his diagnosis of diabetes, stopped all of his diabetes meds and lost 60 lbs. in the process. He says it is the best change he ever made in his life and still eats the same low-carb, high protein and fats diet to this day to avoid getting fat again and developing diabetes. His cholesterol, for those skeptics out there, is 126 without medications.

It is a fallacy to believe that what the government tells you to do is good for you or based in scientific fact. Just look at climate change. Not based in reality at all and yet this is the latest government hoax being used to pick your wallets for the sake of "saving the planet" and lining the pockets of the elite Left. People should eat what they want and not listen to the government at all.
