So the shooter somehow knew that he had enrolled at the school (not only the fact that he had enrolled, but also the time and location of his classes), but did not know that he was appearing on a highly-rated national TV show (and thus would not be attending the school)? Seems highly unlikely.

It may be. You know, however, there is a thread of something going on in this country that implies another intelligence at work. I have a close acquaintance with someone who has taken the place of one of the contract officers shot during the Navy Yard shooting a few years back. Now that I have a much better idea of just what they are contracting for, it seems more unlikely that the attack was just a random effort by a deranged man who heard voices, and just happened to have access to the facility.

If we were to look back through history and examine scenario after scenario, they would often seem totally unbelievable if written into a work of fiction. Keep your ears pricked and nose up. I'm betting there is more to come.
