McCarthy drops out. Boehner decides, nah, no vote today (God forbid we should vote for true CONSERVATIVE) and did I hear that Boehner UN-resigned as speaker until December? Probably hoping to get a RINO elected? You know, someone that HE approves of.
Yup but I’m cautiously optimistic that at least SOME of the house has grown some spine!

I still think McCarthy dropped out because someone threatened to out his alleged affair with Elmers.
Pretty much agree. I think it was one of several reasons.

I think that’s why Boehner has “offered” to stay and why McCarthy stepped out. It is collusion with Obama to get his dream spending bill passed. Since Boehner is already stepping down, it will leave room for McCarthy to “rethink” his position, step in and become obamas’ butt boy until the end of 2016.
