2013—Lyin’ Ryan targeted and stabbed military retirees (include those retired medically) in the back when he struck a deal with Sen. Patty Murray to reduce retirement COLAs. Same deal that they wanted to payout over $4 billion to illegals invading our country.
It took two votes to overturn this piece of garbage. I’d never vote for him for anything.
Newt endorsed McCarthy for the job. Much like he endorsed Dede Scuzzobama for Congress.
He also caved to Clinton on the first government shutdown, boned one of his staffers, and resigned in shame after losing seats in 1998.

There are no term limits, but elections for Speaker are held at the start of each new congress or with a vacancy.
