Wait a minute. How can missiles launched for Syria land in Iran? Where did they come from?

You know one of the unspoken sideeffects of our involvement in the ME wars, is that it has made us combat ready, and Russians and the Chinese know this.

Problem is, Obama hasn’t learned this. Trump knows this.

Our military is at it’s height having fought there. OUr precision munitions are battle tested.

This is funny.

Once again , Trump is right.

Five times a day a Shia ass looks the same as a Sunni ass.

What difference does it make?

“The terrain-hugging Kalibr cruise missiles, known by NATO by the codename Sizzler, fly at an altitude of 50 meters and are accurate to within three meters, the Russian defense ministry said.”

Umm, you might want to fly a little higher.

Asses Up!

That should be the “call to prayer” mantra. Oh wait, maybe it already is.

You posted: “...and the milk factory....”

I must correct you, the sign said “Baby milk factory.” making the ‘miss’ even more egregious. (Also, it had a military command post in the basement.)

I guess the Soviets (er...Russians) just have never perfected the whole “flying the cruise missile through the window” thing.

Syria...Iran...what’s the difference. Close enough for Russian work...

The Russian Defense Ministry, however, took strong issue with the CNN report in a posting on Facebook Thursday.

“Unlike CNN, we don't report quoting anonymous sources, but we show launches of our missiles and the targets they hit in real-time mode,” the statement reads, noting that Russian drones are operating in Syria around the clock, presumably monitoring operations.

It continues, “No matter how unpleasant and unexpected it is for our colleagues in the Pentagon and Langley, our strike yesterday with precision-guided weapons at ISIS infrastructure in Syria hit its targets.”

I am betting this is part of our propaganda war against Russia.

I don’t believe either group.

Iranian defense ministry believes reports on “fallen Russian cruise missiles” are part of the intensified western propaganda war, according to a source.

Tehran has denied US reports that four of Russia’s cruise missiles targeting ISIL actually fell to the ground in Iran, with the country’s defense ministry calling the accusations “psychological war.”

Russia’s Defense Ministry also refutes US media reports of an alleged incident involving cruise missiles which were fired at ISIL positions in Syria on October 7, stating that all missiles hit their designated targets.

“No matter how unpleasant and unexpected for our colleagues in the Pentagon and Langley was yesterday’s high-precision strike on Islamic State infrastructure in Syria, the fact remains that all missiles launched from our ships have found their targets,” ministry’s spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.

On Thursday, CNN reported that four of the 26 missiles fired from Russian warships in the Caspian Sea went off target and crashed in Iran. That report was based on anonymous Pentagon sources, who despite claiming to have evidence of the targeting malfunction, could not identify where, precisely, the missiles landed.

“In contrast to CNN we do not talk with reference to anonymous sources,” Konashenkov said. “We show the launch of our rockets and the targets they struck.”

Indeed, the Russian Defense Ministry has posted a number of videos to prove the accuracy of its targeting systems.

On Wednesday, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu told President Vladimir Putin on Russian television that all 26 missiles launched from four missile ships struck their targets, with no civilian facilities hit. Putin then congratulated him on the performance of the weapons.

It was not clear whether Shoigu was referring to the same missiles as the U.S. officials, as the latter may have been describing ones launched after the TV appearance.

He better be right, winter is coming to Siberia quick.

..“The terrain-hugging Kalibr cruise missiles, known by NATO by the codename Sizzler, fly at an altitude of 50 meters and are accurate to within three meters, the Russian defense ministry said.”

..unless they are launched from the Caspian Sea...then the Sizzler is accurate to within 42 thousand meters

22 out of 26 Russian cruise missiles hit their targets. CIA and KGB are arguing about the other 4.
