"Skarlatos may have averted tragedy himself in recent days. He is participating in the TV show "Dancing With The Stars" and other activities that he said kept him from enrolling at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore., this fall. Last week 10 people died at the school in a shooting rampage.

So far, no motive has been given for the attack but it’s suspected that there is a link to the local Tea Party.

Even if there's not an Islamist connection to two of the three heroes nevertheless I wonder why..

If there is a connection or Islamist attacks continue to occur here and American Muslims won't act to expose and expel the Islamists and Sharia Law advocates then what other choice is there?

If he pulls through this, he needs to move/be based at a CCW state and stay away from nightclubs.

Best advice I gave to my soldiers is to enlist early, get married, have kids, stay out of trouble, get right with God, do your 20 years, and “retire” at the VERY young age of 37-39.
