I'd second Newt. He was effective in getting things done, we won't get any "Obama will just veto so we have to give up" crap from him. Also, maybe this would be a good role for Scott Walker. His big successes were pushing bills through the legislature against a firestorm of FUD coming from democrats. He'd be a good fighter in congress.
