California exit exam abolished, diplomas to be awarded
San Jose Mercury ^ | 10/08/2015 | Sharon Noguchi

Upending a hallmark of California school reform, Gov. Jerry Brown on Wednesday signed a bill that will award diplomas to thousands of young people who failed the California High School Exit Exam in the past decade.

The new law, which takes effect in January, will allow former high school students who failed the test as far back as 2004 to now graduate, as long as they passed all of their required high school classes. The new law effectively undoes the decade-old requirement, imposed after a hard and bitter fight, that students pass a standardized exam in order to earn a high school diploma in California.

To all of you California students who studied hard and put in the effort to pass the required exit exams I hope this becomes a life lesson for you. As you look at your now meaningless high school diploma realize that having equal outcomes usually has a negative affect on the hard workers.

A diploma from most California high schools is simply a certificate of indoctrination these days.

Ah yes, California, leading the way in mediocrity and being average (or below). Just the 1st step in what’s gonna happen in the future, making sure those that have give half of what they worked for to those who haven’t worked for anything.

For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” 2 Thessalonians 3:10

And California continues to wallow ever deeper into mediocrity.

No longer self-sufficient in a number of areas, that state is only a little better than the sum of all the Third-world communities that have grown up there, first as small colonies, then as a sort of spreading blight.

Like lichen spreading over a rock. And probably 20% of the current population has no legal status as either citizens or non-citizen residents, what with expired visas and the presence of sanctuary cities to shelter those who arrived by extra-legal means. And now they are bringing in 200,000 Syrian “refugees”, really a cover for a massive invasion force, many of whom will be settled in California.

Isn’t this just like the assisted suicide law? Now education is dead.

And the Browns were governor for 17 of those years. Congrats, guys.

Why stop there? Let’s get this over with. Abolish school. Let everyone be dumb. They can sit on their asses, watch liberal TV for their “education” and collect government checks. All they would have to do is go to the voting booth every once in a while and press the “Dem” button.

Hopefully they will also “award” diplomas to those who did not go to class, as well as to those who did not even go to school, and, really, to everybody who feels bad about not having one.

They already have appropriate diplomas for their university system. They need to stock up for the high schools too.

That would end the money laundering and bribery rampant in the school system, financed by the working stiff. No way that will be acceptable.
