Chelsea Clinton says becoming a mother has convinced her Hillary needs to be President so make U.S. 'the country I want my daughter to grow up in'

Former First Daughter discussed her mother on the Ellen DeGeneres Show 35-year-old said giving birth to daughter Charlotte changed her views Chelsea Clinton has revealed that becoming a mother herself revolutionized her attitude to her own mother's presidential campaign.

The former First Daughter, 35, gave birth to baby Charlotte this year, and said it made here even more sure that her mother Hillary should be the next President.

In an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Clinton said that she wants her mother to make the United States 'the country I want my daughter to grow up in'. Charlotte, who is now 11 months old, has in return been cited repeatedly by her grandmother as the inspiration behind her presidential campaign.

She told host Ellen DeGeneres: 'I feel so strongly about my mom now too because I am a mom.

'I didn’t know that I could love and admire and respect my mom anymore until I became a mom and couldn’t believe any more in her as the right leader for the country I want my daughter to grow up in.

'But I do because she has been working to ensure that every woman should get the chance to grow up to be you or to grow up and be the next Hillary Clinton. Every little girl should have the opportunity to pursue her dreams.'
