And that’s out of 800 pounds. The guy must have been starving after losing that 2.5% of his body weight. I’m thinking that wasn’t the first pizza he ordered.

THAT right there is telling me that he must have been cheating big time! (no pun intended). I am sure the doctors have told him that the weight will kill him and if he follows the program.. he will lose it (albeit dieting is not easy and needs a mental commitment). For those in the program who think they can do what they want... they are taking up a bed for someone who DESPERATELY wants it and will follow the rules.

20 pounds over 80 days = 4 ounces per day.

It would only take 1000 days to lose 250 pounds he claims to need to lose for the surgery. Over 3 years to get thin enough (550 lbs or so) to have the surgery
