Russia has proposed sharing the coordinates of possible ISIL targets with the US-led anti-ISIL coalition, but has not received a response, Colonel-General Andrei Kartapolov, head of the Main Operations Directorate of the Russian General Staff, told media at a press briefing on Wednesday.
"This means that either our partners do not have such coordinates, or that they for some reason do not want us to hit these targets. The reason for this remains unclear to us," Kartapolov said, cited by RIA Novosti.

Of course, not; Obama’s pouting...
Maybe it’s time for my tin foil hat but I bet Obama has never done anything to isis, he just pretended to all along.
LOL. Obama is not going to bomb ISIS targets. They are Sunni. What are the Russians thinking?
He’s being outed.
ya...just like the Afghans helped us target the hospital....
Unfortunately for the next year and a few months we will still be operating under the Spite Administration: Punish your enemies, reward your friends. Of course “friends” and “enemies” are not defined in any traditional way but rather only by the Obama agenda and whims.
Hmmm... I think I'll go with "they for some reason do not want us to hit these targets." The Russians are exposing our duplicity in Syria with excruciating politeness.
He is more of a mobster than a president.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure the White Mosk knows where their own guys and assets are, and are probably PO’d that the Russians are now telling them they’re about to get blown up.
Obunghole doesn’t really want to defeat ISIS. After all they’re his Moooslim buddies.
Mr kartapolav, Barry can’t even work with the majority of his own Americans who are conservatives
What makes you think the man- child will work with Russians?
They are polite because they are adults. In my opinion, to understand Obama they should rent the Godfather movie series. I don’t think the Rainbow Mobsters are killing their enemies yet, but the idea of punishing your enemies and winning by any means is still there. How far they will go history will have to report.
Or maybe after apprising US, the Russians watch the target to check for abrupt evacuation of the terrorists...
People in this country need to get this : as long as this regime is in power , and the puppets they have infested the military with at all levels , we will never know victory , or see any foreign policy successes .
The American people made a huge mistake in 2008 , and then insanely repeated it again in 2012 . That vast mistake needs to be rectified . America ( and the world ) can’t wait until 2017 .

The United States will not cooperate militarily with Russia in Syria because Moscows strategy is tragically flawed, U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said on Wednesday in his strongest comments yet on the issue.
However, the United States is willing to hold basic, technical discussions with the Russians to try to secure pilot safety.
We are not prepared to cooperate in a strategy which as we explained is flawed, tragically flawed on Russias part, Carter said during a trip to Rome, renewing U.S. accusations that Russias strikes were not focused on Islamic State militants.
Russia launched its air campaign last month saying it would target Islamic State. But its planes have also hit other rebel groups opposed to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Moscows ally. Some of these groups are backed by Washington.
Despite what the Russians say, we have not agreed to cooperate with Russia so long as they continue to pursue a mistaken strategy and hit these targets, Carter said.
What we will do is continue basic, technical discussions on professional safety procedures for our pilots flying (over) Syria. That is it. We will keep the channel open because it is a matter of security and safety for our pilots.
The United States has put forward various proposals, including simple safety protocols, such as maintaining a safe distance between U.S. and Russian aircraft and using common radio frequencies for distress calls, officials say, adding they would be similar to regulations found in civil aviation.
Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said on Tuesday the United States was awaiting a formal response from Russia on the U.S. suggestions.
Russias deputy defense minister, Anatoly Antonov, was quoted by the Tass news agency on Tuesday as saying the Russian military agreed in principle with the proposals made by the United States on coordinating military flights.
He said the two countries would hold a second joint video conference on the subject in the coming days.
