Exactly. All the people laughing on this thread like it's a big joke don't understand the seriousness of this. It's not just that some narco is threatening a presidential candidate - it's that this sort of thing, unchecked, could easily have a chilling effect on any candidate who wishes to adopt a sane policy toward immigration. In effect, a Mexican narco would be determining US policy. American sovereignty, such as it is, would be gone. I'm pretty sure El Chapo is just kidding. We're talking murder here. El Chapo might be a drug dealer, but that doesn't make him a killer.
