I'd love to see the House Republican Conference look like the Taiwan Parliament on any given day.

I'd do pay per view.

He should be censured for his stupid, Stalinist remark.

In about 2005 the Democrat party cleansed itself of old fashioned Democrats and replaced with Progressive/Socialist Dems. The Republican party is attempting to move Left in the same way.

We can’t let them.

“how the Congress functions and how—what’s laid out clearly in the Constitution as a Democratic Republic,” Nunes says.”

What a maroon! Shows that he has not even a rudimentary understanding of a Democratic Republic

The more I learn about McCarthy and the longer I watch, I would not want him to be Dog Catcher in Whiskey Flat. It rally looks like the Republiocan party has been co-opted by a bunch of stealth democRATS.

"...you have to realize how elections work, how the Congress functions and..."

No, buster - YOU need to realize how elections work. First we put the House in the hands of the GOP, and you did SQUAT. Then, we put the Senate in the hands of the GOP, and you collectively did SQUAT+.

As for 'how the Congress functions, we've had enough illustrations of how it works, under the control of you gutless wonders and under Democratic control. I, for one, don't see much difference, other that the Democrats fight tooth-and-nail for what they believe in, and you roll over, give in to what they want and cram it down our throats, anyway.

Start doing what we elect you to do, or get the HELL out before we throw your asses out. Your party is in danger of extinction. Congratulations, you're easing the way.

I think am good with it too. Lets take Abe Lincoln and leave.

I used to be a huge advocate of only two parties but thats' broken these days. Now we have just have one some are calling the uniparty which is descriptive.

It maybe time to do a pre-emptive break up. They will need the conservatives back because as if we leave they got nothing but the blue bloods elitists and phony Kalifornian republicans. The reconciliation can be on our terms and the purge can begin. Warning I have no mind for strategy

A national conservative party with the word conservative in the name could be good. Might be more descriptive now than Tory, Whig, Republican. The TEA party seems to have a ethereal quality about it to me - I don't know if I'm a member or not. Today I think I'm a member?

Might cause the greens and other progressives to do the same and help splinter the left as well - probably wishful thinking.

Reasonable people on both sides agree that the major parties don't give a damn about honestly compromising and solving the nations problems.

Beside we getting our collective behinds handed to us on every major issue as it is now - perhaps its time to try a different path.

RINO self-identification is well underway, I see.

UNintelligent House Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), an ally of House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in the upcoming Speakership elections, tells reporters that he thinks any GOP House member who doesn’t back McCarthy on the floor should be kicked out of the GOP to go form their own third party.

The proposal would result in Speaker Pelosi.

Which would effect no change.

RINOs will be Pelosi anyhow.

GOP Leaders are sure eager to become irrelevant. I just wonder how they think they can win if they do not have the conservatives at their side

The possibility exists that they actually DON'T want to win. That they are planted saboteurs. Or perhaps victims of blackmail.

I learned my lesson for good and all after the Thad Cochran fiasco.

Didn't take me that long. The 2010 Alaska senate election showed me all I needed to know. We are all supposed to join together after the primary to support the candidate only is in effect if the establishment wins. If it is the conservative, throw them under the bus in the general election.

are from States that have not voted GOP in decades.

Should be just the opposite. Kick all GOP members who support McCarthy out of the GOP.

"This crap is exactly why McCarthy can not be Speaker, it’s more Boehner like bs"

I agree with you, but the sad fact is there are only about 70 tea party reps in the House GOP, and some of those (Gowdy i.e.) have crossed over to the elite side. Just not enough votes are available. It is time for a separate Conservative Party, but even that would likely throw the Rats back in control of the House.
