By the time Ronaldus Magnus man ran for President, he had served two terms as a conservative Governor of California, and delivered "A Time for Choosing".
Trump is a Republican because he says he is. He couldn't be bothered to register as a Republican in either of the last two Presidential election years. Do NOT confuse the two.
