Republicans should stand up for traditional values. Do not pander to people based on race, fight for liberty and those that desire traditional values and freedom will follow. Why should a message to black people be any different than a message to other races? If we have separate messages for black people why not separate drinking fountains and bathrooms too?
Republicans are DIM-lite and have pretty much abandoned traditional values.
They’re going to have a difficult enough time convincing White conservatives to support them in 2016, let alone Blacks who, according to older FR postings, are primarily interested in free stuff.

They still vote 90+% for Democrats, so I’m guessing that many “devout” blacks hear Rev. Wright-type sermons.

It is overwhelmingly obvious that rational self-interest for almost every individual black voter dictates voting for any Democrat over almost any Republican.
The Republican vote stash is all white, and up for grabs.
Exactly my first thought. How many elections have we seen the articles about how blacks have traditional values, but everytime. the huge majority of them that even vote, vote for the party which promises them all the freebies? What’s different his time? The GOPe will try to offer them more freebies than the ‘rats?
Blacks are democrats... that’s not going to change.
Courting black voters for our guys makes as much sense as Democrats being told they should ‘court’ the NRA vote...
Waste of time, energy and money for both sides.

That may be why Trump is winning so many blacks and Hispanics over to his side - because he doesn’t corral them off into minority groups. He just treats all Americans as Americans and appeals to them from that perspective. Which is the only perspective any of us should be concerned about at this point.
Oh and btw, Trump is polling somewhere around 25% among black people. That is quite an extraordinary accomplishment. But it’s not reported on the “news”.....
They don’t need to be courted any more than I do. If they are free-thinking and intelligent, they will vote Republican, realizing they’ve been “had” by the Democrats.
That's exactly right. The huge problem is: you can't beat Santa Claus. The Dem Party is the Santa Claus Party. The Republicans are seen as Grinches by blacks. There's no way to beat Santa Claus.
In fairness my white Pittsburgh neighbors are the same way.

But they pull that Democrat handle every election without fail. Cause their granddad’s union drilled it into their heads in 1952 that “Democrats is fer da WORKIN’ MAN!”
Yes, they should. Chip away at the Dhimmicraps’ percentage of the black vote and make them defend this territory, thus reducing their ability to expand their territory.
Of course, this is considered unfair. Progressives regard blacks as their property.

I know exactly what you mean. I lived in MA for ~20 yrs, and saw the same thing. White people who themselves may not have been radical leftists, but they would vote Dem out of family heritage and, as you said, bc Dems are for the little guy, GOP is for fat cats.
Black males are somewhat receptive to a Conservative message. They consistently vote in the 12%-15% range for the GOP presidential nominee.
Black females vote almost 100% Democrat. And they have much higher voter turn out than Black males.
