Oh yes...they will join with the democrats as the “resistance party”.

Right up until the first series of federal audits are reported.

Muhuhuhuahuahuahua..... :D

Trump is a genius, that much is obvious. He will beat them down or politically “go nuclear”.

If the GOPe were ever successful in forcing through a Bush nomination they will have won the battle but lost the war. There is so much anger now at the GOPe that true conservatives would surely bolt the party and form a third party. The GOP would not be able to win another election. The base will not go back to business as usual.

The facts of the matter is the only candidate with the wealth, and the media draw power, to disrupt this GOPe plan is Trump. Like him, or hate him, the fact remains we need him to break the power of the GOPe.

So what does the GOPe do if Trump wins? Same thing they did with the Tea Party. They try to co-opt and corrupt. The GOPe is run by political operatives. Their sole purpose in life is to find the winning parade and put themselves at the head of it.

I completely agree with that. Pandora's Box has been opened and nothing will be the same again ...

Not enough to make a difference in the election. The rank and file of the party will fall in line. There will be sour grapes among the Rovites but Trump life has been lived in the media spotlight. The Rovites tactics of hearsay, innuendo and slander will not work against him.

“Remove Donald Trump in 2015 and Ben Carson becomes Hermain Cain, Ted Cruz becomes Newt Gingrich and Jeb Bush becomes Mitt Romney from 2012.”

This is DEAD ON, thanks for posting. For people supporting Carson, I understand your intentions and why you like him, but realize that HE IS ONLY A TOOL for the party to defeat Trump. Once Trump is gone, you’ll have bimbos coming out of nowhere or something like that to take out Carson (likely not even real...but their fake claims are all that’s needed as people will instantly link Carson with Cain, and it will be GAME OVER for Carson - he has no money and doesn’t stand a chance against them).

With Trump, and then Carson gone, you now have Carly, who can easily be destroyed with legitimate claims. Then Cruz...he’s already being painted as a religious zealot, and they will push harder and harder in that direction - basically another Santorum.

...and so we nominate another Bush, or Rubio, or similar, and get our butts wiped...yet again. But Rove is HAPPY, he still has his job and big money keeps coming in to him, as a Hillary or Biden presidency is FAR SUPERIOR to big money than a Trump or Cruz presidency - for obvious reasons.

That's always been the plan. It worked for them in 2008 and 2012 but it won't work in 2016.

The GOPe consider us the enemy. We need to repay the favor. I'll vote Republican in the general election if Trump or Cruz are the nominee, maybe Carson. But if it's anyone else I'll write in or vote third party. And I hope Trump is that third party candidate. If the GOPe manage to steal the nomination from conservatives again I want to see them destroyed. Period.

Too bad the avid Trump haters on FR don’t consider this information. Their demand for the perfect candidate won’t let them consider that no man is perfect and that God can use any one to defeat evil.

I agree. These polls that keep having Carson one week, Fiorina the next week, on Trump’s heels, the newest kid in town who’s going to take Trump down, look like somebody wants anyone but Trump to win (except Cruz, but they don’t think he’s a factor-I hope that remains to be seen, as he’s my ideal choice).

This is the bizarro world we now live in:

The GOP candidate who supports government providing health care for all, higher taxes on the wealthy, government confiscation of personal property for the “greater good” (i.e. to line the pockets of wealthy investors) and has in the past supported abortion on demand, same sex marriage and too many Democrat candidates to count is the “conservative” in this race.

Meanwhile, all the other GOP candidates who do not and never have supported the above are GOPe.

“Trump should make this point...”

I agree. He should call them out publicly and repeatedly. Rub it in their faces. But just not mention Jeb. We don’t want any undo attention possibly lifting his poll numbers - even slightly.

When I saw the story about the Mexican cartel guy posting that huge reward for Trump’s murder, I wondered whether that was real or a cover for something even more sinister.

Either way, Trump is in danger.

If they pull this stunt with Trump he is going to break his pledge and run third-party.

That may very well elect a Democrat. But the GOPe candidate will come in a distant 3rd. And the long awaited Republican Party Going-Out-of-Business Sale will finally commence.

Within 18 months Karl Rove will be working as a night manager at Burger King.

I think this article is totally accurate. I have posted may times “If the Democrats win the Congress or Whitehouse how does Boehner and McConnell’s lives change?” They don’t. They still have their jobs and the money and power that goes with it.

IMO the voter base dynamics have changed this time. The base has finally woken up and realized they have been played and are sick of it. I now hate the Republicans worse than the Democrats. Mitt Romney was my last vote for the lesser of two weasels. If Trump does not get the nomination I’ll just write his name on the ballot anyway or skip the vote altogether. Other than Ted Cruz there is nobody else running worth voting for.

I read a story that the escaped drug lord in Mexico, El Chapo, is gunning for Trump. Could be the false flag the GOPe is hoping for!
