I believe Trump is referring to the eminent domain wrought by Kelo, which basically said that property could be taken if a developer was going to turn it into something that paid more taxes to the government.
The government considers more tax revenue to be the greater good.
As long as their is due process and proper and timely compensation.
I’ve been on both side of that ball game.
