I was watching when he said it ,I cringed hoping people would not dump on him over it.

Hey at least he is honest enough to say what he thinks.

A number of things that make me cringe now, but I think he could be great still.

He could be great still as long as he stands by his promise to appoint Conservative judges

Ronald Reagan once said if you find a candidate with whom you agree with 70% of the time, run with him, or words of a similar gist.

I don’t agree with Trump’s comment on eminent domain, but lets face it, if we look for a candidate with whom we agree with 100% of the time, we will be looking from now until the end of World War VII.

He may well stand by his promise to appoint Conservative judges -- however, there will absolutely be a huge difference in what he calls "conservative," and what you call "conservative."

Buyer beware. Just because Trump is a sincere patriot, doesn't mean he isn't a bad risk for American freedom and preservation of the Constitution. By pretty much ALL indications, he is a CLASSIC MODERATE in function, although in mouthiness, he is refreshingly non-PC.
