Well, actually, if you think about it, they don’t have to think that everyone is really that stupid, just the general masses and population.
I think we here at FR tend to believe that everyone is smart as we are, and have a desire to think things through, to be Bereans, and test whether what we are being told is true or not.
But in reality, the general population just wants his football on Sunday and a beer.

This is a very good point, and even this fed official who made the statement about full employment in this article, obviously doesn’t understand himself.
