I wonder if extortion could be charged nevertheless? At the very least the given company would be squirming mightily at the media coverage of how it tried to screw its employees(even if the plaintiff was found not to have a case)!

It is extortion....you are losing your job but if train this person, we’ll given you some severance, don’t train this person and you’ll be fired with a bad reference! I’d like to see it tested!

I think Ted Cruz's stealth support for the H-1B program is probably a big part of why he's way down in the polling and Donald Trump rules.

I hope it's not too late for Cruz to convince his deep-pockets backers that they simply can't get an H-1B-expander as the nominee and they need to support him in coming out against H-1B.

H1-B is part of Immigration as an issue writ-large. Immigration is an absolute deal breaker with me. If your mind is not right on immigration, you are done.

This is why Trump is winning, absolutely. Only guy out there who gets it on immigration.

I actually like Ted Cruz but apparently many of his large donors are from Silicon Valley and have a vested interest in suppressing tech wages. Ted is going to need to convincingly renounce the H-1B program and find a different set of deep pocket backers.
