Just Watched Trump on Special Report with Bret Baier (vanity)

Posted on 10/06/2015 3:22:51 PM PDT by RoosterRedux

He was incredibly good. Gave specifics, was strong, was presidential.

And what energy!

I will post a video when it hits youtube.

If Trump was a liberal in 2011 when he published his book, Time to get Tough, surely you can cite several liberal positions he espoused therein.

"Looks like the Cruzers have found their big thing. Eminent domain. LOL"

Yeah, it's one of those Constitutional things, so it is sort of "big."

It's really a fascinating study to witness flip dismissal of such issues, and such contempt for a Constitutional conservative, coming from the right.

That’s just a lie...

He has repeatedly called Obamacare a ‘disaster’.

Is Mara working for BJ?

His liberalism is constantly on display.

Tonight, even.

As for his history and his past, I suggest you vet your own candidate. Seems you haven’t done so yet.

You cannot cite any liberal positions Trump took in his book Time to get Tough bc there were none.

So you're seriously using the Constitution here? You do realize that Eminent Domain is in the Constitution right, and originally didn't impose nor place any limits on eminent domain for individual states? And you do realize that the 14th amendment does not forbid the State from having its own laws regulating eminent domain, provided there is compensation and due process, right?

I'm talking about his life, not some book

. Continuing right up until the present. Until tonight.

None of it matters to you. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Yeah, Donald and his parking lot were what the Founders had in mind.

So your definition of a liberal is a person who writes a policy manifesto that contains only conservative ideas and policies.

You don’t know much about liberals, do you?

He sure beats Jeb. I hate to say it, but all the squealing you do about Trump does not help Ted at all. At least Trump has a lot of Exec experience which is a good thing to have.

Why don’t you spend your time on Rubio or Snarly? That immigration thingy is far more serious to our future.

By the way, do you all oppose the Keystone Pipeline? Because if eminent domain should only apply to government owned property, it follows that we cannot support a foreign owned company to use eminent domain— which will be absolutely necessary— to benefits its business.

I’ll one up ya...
In the beginning of WW II when the US entered, the land that my ancestor owned from before the Revolutionary War (He was a Rev War hero and entertained Washington) in Jacksonville, NC was seized by the U.S. govt through eminent domain...
It’s now Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base

"He sure beats Jeb."

They're both liberals; I won't support either of them.

" I hate to say it, but all the squealing you do about Trump does not help Ted at all."

Pointing out liberal stances is always useful.

" At least Trump has a lot of Exec experience which is a good thing to have."

I'm not settling for "at least." We have the strongest, most solid Constitutional conservative candidate since Reagan, and he's my man. I'm not looking for a real estate deal in Manhattan.

"Why don’t you spend your time on Rubio or Snarly? That immigration thingy is far more serious to our future."

Why don't you refrain from instructing me on what to post?

Quit helping the enemies. Latching on to that swill that spews out of FOX news all star panel only helps the Uniparty.

They are also going to use this same swill on Cruz. Count on it!

Shame on you. We need a candidate that can ruin the Uniparty and Trump is it because he can win.

I think you mean that the Holy Spirit draws us to Jesus for repentance. Some do believe that good works will bring one to Christ - but good works are a fruit of having accepted the Lord. Now, whatcha gonna do with this Scripture in Philippians 2:12?

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

‘I could not stand him much more and had to turn the channel. He was just awful tonight. He better watch it. He is losing much of his credibility.’

Stephen Hayes hasn’t got much credibility to lose. Back when Trump criticized McCain, Hayes was all over the place proclaiming that Trump had “blown up” his own campaign. Hayes was writing post mortems on the subject.

Hayes is just another dreary Trump hater—the more so that Trump defied Hayes’ hysterical death watch and remains at the front of the field.

That’s right, I’ve never been a swooner - not even as a teenager when most teens would scream and cry and faint for some stupid rock stars. That just isn’t me.

Equally disgusting are the comments who call Trump supporters “bots” and claim they have ‘low IQs’.

Austin: I should have been more clear. By no means do I think all Trump supporters are Bots or are low IQs. I will vote Trump if he is the nominee.

The TrumpBots folks don't want to have a discussion. They bully others on FR. They mindlessly espoused every word out of the Trump campaign. That behavior is the borish behavior of the timid and is not helpful to our cause.
