Oh, please...about my browning comment...Trump is living in the past if he thinks all brown people are illegals.
I have Puerto Rican, Lebanese, Haitian, Mexican and other “brown” relatives whose ancestors have been US citizens since before my own people came over from Ireland in 1888.
The Trump folks are extremely narrow-minded if they think all the “brown” people just suddenly sprang up here in the past 8 years.
Read up on your NYC history.

I have friends/relatives that are hispanic and are third and fourth generation Americans. They are very conservative, do not like what has happened to this country since the CHANGE IN OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS (beginning in 1965 - and since), and are supporting Trump.
Actually, I have read a lot of NYC history. In fact, I take trips there once/year average...and love visiting Fraunces Tavern, sitting and praying near the church pew that George Washington worshiped in, studying the lives and times of people and places past. I’m not sure what your point was in saying that.
But, I am glad you retracted your comment about Queens being the underarm of NYC ;-)
