Once we learn of this, we should strike the unit that called for the strike

One sometimes wonders just what side the Afghan government troops are on. This was a way to the US strike force a black eye, and it could all be sloughed off as “fog of war” misunderstanding on the part of the Afghani government troops.

Meanwhile, the Americans get blamed.
