End of ISIS? Putin 'sending 150,000 soldiers to Syria to WIPE OUT evil Islamic State'

VLADIMIR Putin is preparing to send 150,000 troops to Syria in a bid to wipe out the evil Islamic State once and for all.

The Russian leader is reportedly mounting an enormous military mission to take control of the terror group's stronghold of Raqqa.

The city is the self-declared capital of ISIS in Syria and is patrolled by as many as 5,000 jihadi members.

Putin is set to mobilise 150,000 reservists who he conscripted into the military earlier this week.

An insider revealed: "It is very clear that Russia wants to sweep up the west of the country, taking Raqqa and all the oil and gas resources around Palmyra.

"This is fast becoming a race to Raqqa – to secure the oil fields they need to cleanse the region of insurgents, and the IS capital is vital to do that."

It comes a day after Russian jets obliterated nine ISIS outposts in just 24 hours using bunker-busting bombs.

Russian jets pounded terrorist targets and blew up a command centre, potentially killing dozens of fighters.

Confirming the successful raids, Andrei Kartapolov from the Russian army vowed to ramp up the pressure, saying: "We will not only continue strikes... We will also increase their intensity."

And Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said: "Over the past 24 hours, Sukhoi Su-34 and Su-24M fighter jets have performed 20 sorties and hit nine Islamic State installations.

Russians will be viewed as infidel Crusaders. A few bad incidents and it will be on like Donkey Kong. The Middle East loves conspiracy. Many times, rumor becomes truth.

A few Youtube videos of Russian planes coming down or rubbled baby milk factories and it could get ugly for the Russkies, dahlink.

It would have to be total extermination of 1.5 BILLION people and then a massive campaign to wipe out any vestige or history of Islam.

I think a lot of people would have a problem with that even if it were feasible, which is doubtful.

There are Christians who have been practicing their religion in hiding in places like China for over 50 years so even they could not wipe out Christian ideology. And they were pretty good at extermination.

Mongols didn’t practice any one religion.

Tamerlane conquered vast areas in the name of Islam using ISIS like tactics. The point is that such impulses (such creating vast religious empires) have been around for a long time and would not be that easy to “wipe out”.

Not really. All the Aztecs weren’t killed. All the NAZIs weren’t killed.

They just have to be crushed. Totally crushed.

It is just British tabloid nonsense. Russia is conscripting 300k men every year for one year. It is a biannual event. At the same time these 150k enter another 150k are demobilized.

And there are still Nazi’s and the ideology is alive.
It is just in abeyance at the moment.

I don’t know about Aztecs but there are many other older pagan religions that are still practiced all over the world, Druids, Zoroastrianism, Native American religions, etc.

There are many places in the Middle East and North Africa where there are pockets of people who never adopted Islam, they kept their older religions, albeit they have to practice them in secret such as the traditional Berber religion practiced today in the Atlas mountains of Morocco. There is Sufism, Bahai, Zoroastrianism, Druze, Yazidi ... many others that pre-date Islam and Christianity that are still practiced. Even Islam could not “wipe out” all of the former practices and beliefs.

I’m sure many die out naturally. But by conquest? I don’t think you can ‘wipe out’ religious or other beliefs totally by this method. Certainly not when your population is so much smaller than theirs.

Fine.

I’ll settle for the same percentage of Islamic adherents in the future, as we now have of Japanese practicing the bushido code.

I can literally live with that.

1. Cut off all world travel and trade to Muslims.
2. Invade their Holy Lands, destroy every physical semblance of Mecca and radiate it so thoroughly that no one can visit it and remain alive. Reseed radiation as necessary. Thus stopping the Hajj.
3. Take the oil fields.
4. Declare Islam to be a terrorist ideology and make Muslims publicly convert from it, or emigrate back to a Muslim majority country.
