Sorry, but I’m not reading another “I’m a victim” piece. There’s plenty of opportunity for blacks, they just need to make smarter choices, starting with repairing the black family unit. In the 1960’s, about 20% of black babies were born out of wedlock. In 2014, it was 72%. It takes no brains to father a child, but it takes effort to be a father and 72% of black men duck that responsibility.
I won’t argue with what you are trying to say, but your numbers are misleading. Your 72% assumes one father for each child born. It is still 72%, or there about, of the kids being born out of wedlock but the percentage of men doing it may be significantly less. A number of men are fathering children with many women. So, the number of black men ducking their parenting responsibility may be 60%, 50%, or less. Just saying... I have nothing better to do tonite. :)
