Good grief. You spend days, if not weeks, on FR hearing about how incompetent McCain is . . . and then someone posts a photo thinking that it is dispositive of something.
Our old pal McCain took that photo with the Syrian rebels we had been arming and supporting. One of the men in the photo just happened to be an ISIS leader.
I just never felt very comfortable with the “rebels” we were supporting to overthrow Assad.
Trump is definitely running an attract the low info voters campaign with his shallow foreign policy statements. Judging by the amount of checkers players here, it’s probably a smart move on his part not to get bogged down in foreign policy campaign gum flapping.
