ARGENTINE PREZ: Obama Admin Tried to Convince Us to Sell Nuclear Fuel to Iran
The Gateway Pundit ^ | 08/04/15 | Jim Hoft

The Obama administration tried to persuade Argentina to “provide the Islamic State of Iran with nuclear fuel” back in 2010.

President Christina Fernandez de Kirchner made these accusations during her speech this week to the General Assembly.

Nuclear fuel is a key component in nuclear weapons. This United States mainstream media ignored this story for some odd reason?

Jim Hoft doesn't understand the incentive system within the MSM.

First, stories come from newspapers, then spread to TV stations, then to the net, radio and other outlets....

When afternoon newspapers were bought out by morning papers 'liberal' became the consolidated group think. Liberal sources predominated.

As liberal bias increased, readers moved away, papers downsized and the jobs of 'investigators' became too expensive. Liberal 'sources' became more important - causing a faster rate of traditional Americans jumping ship, causing more downsizing, causing the importance of 'liberal sources' to go up.

And that's why a story like this - about the administration encouraging Iran's ability to build nukes was ignored. The liberal 'sources' didn't feed it to the press - and the press for their part can't afford to offend the 'liberal sources' because if they do they're cut off from stories that keep their little newspapers alive. Because papers don't have any bench strength because their good people were downsized out of existence because they cost to much and liberal sources were free and so the circle of destruction and dependence continued...

I am guessing this was to be in exchange for Iran stopping their enrichment activities. Of course, like our failed efforts in NK, this would require believing the Iranians just want nuclear power.

If this is true then our fearless leader is a traitor.

Yes, he is, but is this story true?

I maintain him, his cronies, most of the congress, most of the judiciary, and most of the media should be PURGED, placed into camps and allowed to rot for what they’ve done to the world.

Well, if the story is indeed true, it fits with President Obama’s apparent belief that the big problems in the world are due to the US role. He may think if only Iran had nuclear weapons to keep the US from interfering, the world would be a better place.

Article written by idiots.

Yeah, pretty sure Argentina doesn't have any weapons-grade enrichment facility since they abandonded that research program in 1983.

Interestingly, according to Wikipedia they provided Israel with the yellowcake they used to create their first nuclear device in the early 60s.

I believe that the international situation is so unstable that the only sensible course of action is to move up the 2016 elections to April or May, which would mean condensing the primaries and nominating conventions into the next three or four months. At the same time, I believe that the Congress should begin impeachment proceedings with a view to possible legal consequences for key members of this administration. With a new president in place by May of next year, and a fast turnaround for electoral college and inauguration, the nation and for that matter the entire world will be restored to a condition of greater security than is now evidently the case.

Waiting another year and a half is taking a huge risk, in fact, if I thought the above proposal could be condensed into any shorter time frame, I would suggest that instead.

If this president is not guilty of treason, then his actions are clearly incompetent and highly dangerous. We’ve seen enough. Impeach and replace (and not with Biden, he was around for all of this).

At the time of the hubub surrounding the "outing" of Valerie Plame, another former CIA dude (common name which I forgot) was all over the internet attacking DIck Cheney or whoever he could attack. Anyway, he put up his resume at some point for bragging purposes. I read it and it said he spent some time in Argentina in 1983. Then I looked up and read about the mysterious explosion etc etc and then noticed he fixed his resume and took out where he went and when he went there.

An article whose author doesn’t know the difference between weapons and reactor grade fuels is hardly grounds for impeachment.

Doesn’t matter if the story is true or not. Argentina has reactor fuel. If Argentina was asked to give that fuel to Iran, that is good thing because it means Iran would not need to enrich any fuel to run a reactor or two. Reactor fuel cannot be used for weapons. Whoever wrote the article is an idiot.
